Global food security is a central challenge facing the earth’s expanding population in the next century. Over a three year period from 2013-2015, members of the Aspen Institute’s Food Security Strategy Group examined and wrote about the premier food security challenges global leaders would face over the next 30 years. In a series entitled NAME, the Aspen Institute’s Journal of Ideas now publishes a cross-section of the Strategy Group’s work to date, and current thinking around long term food security.
